dutch and European design and anything that is inspiring to me
i think i would feel bad using that apron as an apron...i woulnd't mind having it hanged like that for me to look at that. its just as much a painting as the other i thnk.
i would feel bad too , but that goes for any nice garment i have.something to do with mothers that tell you to keep your clothes spotless at all times
or artists that choose to create things that make me want to keep them spotless :]
so that would mean i can't wear an apron wit a nice drawing or i have to learn the art of stain removal ;)
i just posted, great minds think alike.. ; some color is necessary! nice painting by amy wheeler.
:)) hey ruth , have to agree with you ;) it looks good your blogger page !
i just saw a little blurb about teresa cole in the new issue of selvedge...i really like her work.(fyi: i highly recommend checking out the new jan/feb issue...)
beautiful things should be used..we appreciate them more that way (i love the pegs too, almost as much as the apron!)
I suppose marie is correct!
that is a fabulous apron! and definitely looks best hanging on the wall rather than covered in grot!
That apron is cool!
